There has been a sense of change across Major League Baseball. After their attempts to rebuild fizzled, the Texas Rangers and the Detroit Tigers both removed top executives, Al Avila, and Jon Daniels, over the past two weeks. During that time, the Rangers also fired manager Chris Woodward, which led us to wonder about other captains who might be facing the sack.

We’re doing the same activity today at the front-office level out of fairness. No one enjoys seeing individuals lose their employment, as we already mentioned. Field and general managers, however, must learn to accept responsibility when things go wrong because denying that truth won’t change anything.

A final trailer for the fantasy series, starring Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Benjamin Walker, and other cast members, was released by Prime Video on Tuesday.

The events in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings book series occur thousands of years earlier in The Rings of Power.

The teaser depicts the unlikely alliance of Tolkien’s renowned and adored characters over huge distances and against all odds to prevent the dreaded reappearance of evil in Middle-earth.

According to the official description, “Fates intersect and divergent people are tested in the face of looming evil in this glimpse into the eagerly anticipated new series.”

With Aramayo playing Elrond, Walker playing High King Gil-galad, Charles Edwards playing Celebrimbor, Markella Kavenagh playing Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot, Dylan Smith playing Largo Brandyfoot, Daniel Weyman playing The Stranger, Maxim Baldry playing Isildur, and Lloyd Owen playing Elendil, Clark plays Galadriel.

Executive producers and showrunners are J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay.

On September 1 at 9 p.m. EDT, the first two episodes of The Rings of Power will air. On August 31, a sneak screening of the episodes will be shown in Cinemark theatres.
